Cancellation/No Show Policy

Borador Animal Hospital is pleased to be a part of the Salem community. Please review our hospital policies below.

Appointment Policy – Please Read

Missed Appointment (No-Show) Policy

  • A “no-show” occurs when a client does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and does not notify us.
  • A missed appointment fee will be charged.
  • Repeated no-shows may require pre-payment to schedule future visits or we may no longer provide veterinary services for your pets.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule routine appointments.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a late cancellation fee.
  • Surgical and dental procedures require at least 7 days’ notice due to the extended time and resources reserved for your pet.

Late Arrival Policy

  • Arrivals 10 minutes late or more will need to be rescheduled and will incur a fee.
  • This helps keep our schedule running smoothly for all patients.

Please contact us by phone, email, or through Vello, our client portal.

Messages received outside business hours will be reviewed the next business day.

Courtesy Reminders

We send text/email reminders when possible, but clients are responsible for remembering appointment times.
