                                                Dr. Mary C. Menard

Dr. Menard is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a longtime resident of New York.  She moved from a mixed animal practice in Southwestern Vermont to open Borador Animal Hospital in 1996. The variety of a mixed animal country practice has always appealed to Dr. Menard, allowing her to administer and care for animals of all sizes.  Of special interest is surgery and preventative care, and the last several years of continuing education having been devoted to the certification in veterinary acupuncture and attending courses in the use of Chinese herbal medicine.  She shares her home with numerous dogs and cats and raises Foundation Quarter horses.

     Dr. David D. Gunzburg

Dr. Gunzburg is a graduate of the internationally accredited veterinary school of Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.  Prior to vet school, Dr. Gunzburg was a film and television Producer/Director for productions filmed in Australia (his home country) and overseas.  His affinity for all animals and their wellbeing, a love for the country versus the "big smoke", and a quest to explore new and exciting challenges along with his partner Amy (a fellow veterinarian from New York), were all precursors leading to veterinary medicine and ultimately to Borador Animal Hospital.  Along with special interests in alpacas and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Gunzburg is enjoying the great variety of outdoor activities this region has to offer.
